Description

Corel Painter X, Wacom Tablet, custom liquid ink brush.

I have always been a traditional artist, and I like working with pen and ink. When I got into digital, I decided to use it in many different ways, one of which is trying to imitate the traditional look of my usual work. I love the versatility digital offers.

This piece is just a fun sketch I was working on. It turned into something more. A little illustration from my imagination.

Hey very cool. The etching stuff looks great. I think the only thing is that the black is so overpowering. I think if you varied the darknesses of the black it would look much more believable as pen and ink. Even if you fill in a page black with a pen, it will not be completely black.
